[SOLVED] Electron apps not opening after recent update

Just today I noticed that a few things like code and tidal-hifi are no longer working after a recent update.  In the past this problem came up and I was able to fix it with "--disable-gpu --disable-software-rasterizer" but that no longer seems to work now.  I looked at pacman log but nothing immediately jumped out to me as the culprit.

are those using python deps that haven't been rebuilt against the newer python version?

So sorry.....  Looks like me just being stupid was the problem.  I rebooted and the problem magically went away.  I think this was just me not rebooting after an update.
