I'm trying to narrow down my issue I have. I'm using KDE + Wayland on my main box and it seems that there is a lag associated with the clipboard within Windows on VMWare Workstation. Whenever I copy on Arch, it works fine and all apps seem to register that. On the guest Windows under VMWare Workstation, it takes a few seconds for it to update and may not always work. `libvirt` with guest Windows seems to work fine. I'm using VMware as some apps only work in that and libvirt for everything else.
Does anyone have any recommendations to help start debugging this? My original assumption was syncing X11/Wayland clipboards but that doesn't work. I also tried playing with incrasing priority with `vmtoolsd` on the Windows instance itself and it doesn't seem to work. I also don't see any issue with `journaltctl` either. I've also installed open-vm-tools
(https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … -vm-tools/) and that doesn't help either after a reboot and enabling the service.
Any advice you all have?
