[solved] inkscape text tool not working

Hello,
I am using inkscape 1.4-4 on an x86_64 architecture. Everything has been installed with pikaur. The text tool is not working, whatever the selected font, it shows nothing or weird small boxes in place of any character. The size of the font has the expected behavior.

 pacman -Qm

Sorry, the default color of the text (right after the installation) was white !
