Bluetooth earbuds disconnecting after 30 seconds with no output sound

Hello, I've been trying to get my earbuds (moondrop nekocake) to connect to my laptop by using bluetuith  to connect to it. It does show in pavucontrol, however I cannot play media through them, it just does not output anything. After roughly 30 seconds I get disconnected and can see an error message in journalctl :

Any help would be appreciated. Do let me know if I need to provide more logs.
