[SOLVED]Nvidia GPU not recognized

Greeting,

I am trying to get my NVIDIA card detected by the system. but I am having some problems. The card is a GT 1030, which is pascal. Following the Arch installation guide I should  have the right drivers.

My boot journal:

http://0x0.st/8XDK.txt

It says that no Nvidia GPU has been detected.

I have an AMD card in there as well.

I would greatly appreciate some help trying to troubleshoot this issue.

Re: [SOLVED]Nvidia GPU not recognized

There's no nvidia device in that journal - this isn't a driver issue, the PCI vendor ID 10de doesn't show up.
Either the GPU isn't powered or deactivated in the UEFI.

Re: [SOLVED]Nvidia GPU not recognized

I thought the same after doing some research. But the fans on the gpu are spinning and from what I can find, I can't just disable it in the bios. The only option I have regarding that is to enable or disable automatic detection of VGA devices.

Since this isn't an arch problem I'll consider it solved.

Improperly seated? Wrong (non PEG) slot? Forgot to attched the dedicated 6/8-pin power supply?
