[SOLVED] TigerVNC with X11 headless resolution

I'm trying to use tigervnc on a remote machine with no monitor.  I installed the dummy monitor and set up X11 to use it.  It will boot but, I get a strange resolution.  I want 1920x1080 but, it comes up 1600x1200.  Here's what I put in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-headless.conf.

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "dummy_monitor"
        HorizSync 28.0-80.0
        VertRefresh 48.0-75.0
        Modeline "1920x1080" 172.80 1920 2040 2248 2576 1080 1081 1084 1118
EndSection

Section "Device"
        Identifier "dummy_card"
        VideoRam 256000
        Driver "dummy"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "dummy_screen"
        Device "dummy_card"
        Monitor "dummy_monitor"
        DefaultDepth 16
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 0 0
                Depth 24
                Modes "1920x1080"
                Virtual 1920 1080
        EndSubSection
EndSection

My ~/.config/tigervnc/config is below:

session=lxqt
geometry=1920x1080
localhost
alwaysshared

This is an LXQT desktop using the SDDM display manager.  I'm starting tigervnc server in the desktop startup.

Any ideas on how to change that funky resolution would be appreciated.

Re: [SOLVED] TigerVNC with X11 headless resolution

It's not an elegant solution but, I solved my problem. I'm not going to knock the developers because X11 has been beat on so much for so long that it's a mess.  However, the dummy video driver appears to be less than full featured.

I got an HDMI 1920x1080 dummy plug.  Here's the one I got on Amazon. I renamed /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-headless.conf, shut down the box, plugged in the dummy plug, and all is well.
