After a system upgrade and restart, I can't log in to my laptop in the Xorg session. After entering my username and password, I get a black screen. The GDM service is running correctly, and I only see the gkr-pam: unable to locate daemon control file error message. The Optimus Manager service is also running.
I have no idea what is causing the issue, so any suggestions are welcome.
The wayland sessions is working correctly.
[UPDATE]: The issue was caused by optimus-manager, which broke after a python dependency package update. Deleting optimus-manager package solved the issue. Still I don't know why optimus manager doesn't works now.
