I updated my laptop 2025-02-03, and after a restart the embedded screen became totally unreadable, flickering and distorted.
I thought this was a bug in intel-media-driver 24.4.4-2 https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/ … kg.tar.zst so I downgrade to 24.4.4-1
pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/i/intel-media-driver/intel-media-driver-24.4.4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst It seemed to solve my problem but after several restarts the issue reappeared. I re-upgraded to 24.4.4-2 and the screen flickering sometimes happen but when I'm lucky it stabilizes itself after few minutes.

A Laptop with
Linux 6.12.10-arch1-1 x86_64
Intel Core i7-6700HQ with embedded HD Graphics 530
