Marking messages as read

Is there a way for me to mark all messages as read in a particular forum (e.g., Arch Discussion), instead of the entire  index of forums? I miss the way it used to be in the old forum format. I liked being able to mark a particular forum as read, and then move to the index to pick a different forum.
