[SOLVED] No gpu accel on Steam Intel / VK_ERROR_INCOMPATIBLE_DRIVER

I get no gpu accel on steam with muck for example, less than 1fps on menu, not much showing in intel_gpu_top
GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics @ 1.30 GHz [Integrated]

on steam launch I get this

vkEnumeratePhysicalDevices failed, unable to init and enumerate GPUs with Vulkan.

I have lib32-mesa lib32-vulkan-intel lib32-vulkan-mesa-layers installed
I get normal vulkaninfo with only these, it break once I install steam
no amd or nvidia driver installed

The 3 files mentioned only appear in -debug packages .

Try removing mesa-debug , lib32-mesa-debug and vulkantools-debug .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

It doesn't seems like I have these

➜  ~ pacman -Q|grep debug
debugedit 5.1-1
debuginfod 0.192-3

so it's working now after I did remove paru-bin-debug gcc10-debug (I forgot to test after bc it seemed unrelated) and lauching steam while having unity editor open which previously was also affected(blurry font)

Next time you need to search for foo with pacman use pacman -Qs foo .
