New install - questions and recommendations

Hi
I am an Arch user for more than a year (using an Athlon XP).
Now I want to install Arch in a system with different architecture.

The system has a core duo @ 3.4 and a sata disk.
Any recommendations?
Are there any problems with core duo cpus and Arch?
Should I use Arch or Arch64?

well if you can afford the drive space why not do both arch & arch64
arch64 will run a few apps quicker on same pc
arch64 flash is a bit of a pain at least it has been for me some people have gotten it to work
either way you choose its really up to you
i myself would & have both installed on my x64 box

Yes, but in Arch repos I found everything I was looking.
what about Arch64 repos? As far as I know there are less packages there.

Why don't ya look there yourself? In current and extra is no big difference, but in x86 community there are about 1200 packages, in amd64 community there are about 300 packages.
