build: command not found

I tried to build a package(cubetest) for myself, but when i run makepkg I always get this error
/usr/bin/makepkg: line 536: build: command not found

Which package do I need to install to get the build command?

You probably don't have a valid PKGBUILD in your directory. This "build" is a function which is defined in PKGBUILD. Check the ABS section in the handbook and the various recent threads on ABS here in the forum.
