plasma or kde making sound on "ok" buttons

since the last 1 or 2 updates almost every ok button started making a sound that before did not. this is mostly happening on KiCAD and i want to disable it

here is a clip with the sound https://youtu.be/TZiw2PzjNX8

im sure that this is not a thing from KiCAD because while i was uploading the video when i chose which file it also did the sound and in some other time ive heard it

Can't repro, if it's mostly in Kicad then it's likely specific to KiCad (as in kicad configures their dialog to play an event sound if such a thing exists on the system), generally speaking event sounds like these are configurable as sound themes in the settings, were you could also disable them entirely.

Re: plasma or kde making sound on "ok" buttons

KDE System Settings >> Search for "sound" >> select System sounds. Uncheck "enable notification sounds" checkbox in top right corner
