I work on a laptop with two monitors connected. I have xfce power manager set up to put my laptop into suspend mode (S3 ACPI) when I close the lid and after 30 minutes of inactivity; however, closing the lid when my second monitor is connected won't trigger the suspend action. First I thought this might be an issue with my xfce power manager config, but if i unplug m second monitor, it indeed is put into sleep mode. I even changed the action to power off to debug a bit, but the result was the same, it won't power off my laptop when my sencond monitor is connected but it will when I only have my laptop.

So we're stuck with this behavior now? That gitlab issue is one year old. Is there any workaround for this? At least disabling something to get the desired behavior or via some script?

Not that I know of. I might look into it, but no guarantees.
