Re: Steam cant install

well - a .deb is a debian package - which is an entire different tree of distributions
you seem new to linux - it's not like on windows where you download an .EXE(cutable) and just run it
also: instead of asking already answered questions please use search function and use tge wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Main_page

Re: Steam cant install

The recommended method of running Steam on Arch is to enable the multilib repo and install the "steam" package.

Forgetting flatpaks exist isn't a problem on Arch, they're good for systems that have repositories of outdated software, but the point of Arch is that it isn't, you can install literally everything via the Arch package management system.

You should definitely read the wiki page for steam, and also the wiki page for your GPU (AMD or Nvidia) and make sure you've got everything recommended in there including the 32 bit / multilib stuff.

using flatpak hardly is even near what I would call a "fix" - in fact: the way flatpak works it is often the cause of all sorts of issues for steam and games - and in general should be avoided on arch alltogether
