Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS when I boot up my laptop

Hello,
I use the SwayFX window manager (I don't know if this info is helpful) and I ran this command before rebooting my laptop:
`pkill swaybar && swaybar &`

After that, swaybar didn't spawn, and I couldn't do anything (couldn't open a terminal, rofi, changing workspaces, wlogout...) so I decided to reboot my laptop by pressing on the power button. When I booted it up again, I was met with a blue screen, with a line that jumped to my eye (I think it is the most important one):
`[.   0.936228] Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0, 0)`

I attempted to follow the instructions given on a similar previous post, but I can't even open a TTY. Please help, I'm completely lost and don't know what to do.

Did you change out your kernel?  Try running:

mkinitcpio -P

If you can't open a TTY, then boot into a live USB and run it.  What were the results?
