Keyboard Mapping Issues on MacBook Air 2015 (French Layout)

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I’m having trouble figuring out why my keyboard has an almost correct key mapping but isn’t fully functional. For example, keys like "@" don’t work, and I can’t seem to find a key combination that produces a "\".

Currently, I’m using the mac-fr keymap, and while it’s the closest match I’ve found, it’s still not perfect. Interestingly, in the Arch ISO, "^c" worked fine, but after booting from my SSD, "^c" stopped working (though "^z" works without issues).

Has anyone encountered similar problems or have suggestions for resolving this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
