up to date and reliable static pacman

Hi

Where can I get a statically linked pacman which will be always up to date from a reliable source.

Twice before and as late as yesterday  after updating pacman, it lost its dependencies to a dynamically lined library causing a significant time drain in fixing the issue (it happen in an old commuter that was not updated for about a month). A statically linked pacman can resolve that issue. Yesterday I had to use a 2 years old statically linked pacman form an unknown source to fix my updates. I am uncomfortable running any program in root privileges from an unknown sources.

The PKGUILD in the AUR is up to date. Build it yourself and keep it around.

And maybe stop doing partial updates?
