Hi!
After a recent system update my microphone stopped working.
It isn't muted and all the packages (i.e. pipewire, pipewire-pulse) seem to be working correctly.

sudo journalctl -xeb kernel: ee1004 4-0050: probe with driver ee1004 failed with error -5 I'd appreciate, if you could help.

i assume its a problem with the controller chip. Check if it works in other computer., If it doesn't, it's probably a problem in the controller chip. can you specify mic.model? this bug is specific to mics with the CM6317A controller... they don't like linux very much )-;

hey, thanks for reaching out. I'm currently away and don't have my laptop with me. but I'll get hands on this in a few days and post an update.
it's been a long time, I didn't think somebody would answer. I appreciate it. hope you don't mind coming back to this topic a little bit later.
p.s. I've been using headphones' microphone since then, but I find it not as comfy as the integrated one
