bios and boot menu not showing with hdmi pls HELP

my build in screen is totally broken so i use hdmi and a tv whenever i try to enter the bios or boot loader the hdmi lost signal, im pretty sure that im actually in the bios or boot loader i tried fixing it but nothing seems to work any help pls ? im new to the linux community so im a noob

i tried ------unplugging the build in screen cable--and force boot into hdmi fn + f8
