Stuck on boot process

Arch stuck on plymouth after “started thunderbolt system service”. Can’t enter tty with Ctrl + Alt + F<_>.

Disable pymouth, remove the quiet parameter and try to boot the multi-user.target only (2nd link below) - does it?

For the failing boot, don't reboot by holding the power button, try to reboot w/ frenetic invocation of ctrl+alt+del, a brief touch of the power button or https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Keyboa … el_(SysRq)
