Postman/Tidal do not open on wayland

When I launch Postman, it runs in the background, but the window doesn’t appear. The same issue happens with Tidal HiFi, and I have no idea why. Do you experience the same behavior on your end?

Re: Postman/Tidal do not open on wayland

Tidal is an Electron application so try the --enable-features=WaylandWindowDecorations & --ozone-platform-hint=auto launch options.

I tried those options, but the window still won’t show up.

Will it run with Xwayland instead?

And which desktop is this?

Previously, it worked in XWayland mode, but after some time, it stopped running even in XWayland mode. The DISPLAY is set to Hyprland.

That doesn't sound right. How are you setting that and what happens when you unset it?

If the application doesn't work now but used to work, what has been upgraded and does downgrading it help?

You should probably add "Hyprland" to the thread title to attract the attention of people who use that desktop (I don't use it myself).
