iotop-c: strange characters displayed for graphs [solved]

When I boot into the live ISO, I can running iotop from itop-c loooks normal, but when I boot into my install, something is causing rectangular characters to be displayed where fine dots are usually rendered in iotop's graphs. Any suggestions as to what is wrong?

Re: iotop-c: strange characters displayed for graphs [solved]

I ended up moving ~/.config/xfce4/terminal to a new name and after loading a new term, got the expected behavior
