Good day, see title for TL:DR, explained further:
After reinstalling Arch on my laptop (new SSD), Fcitx5 wouldn't launch the config tool, first because it was missing then now after trying to launch it in the terminal, this happens:
[andaro@oylmpus ~]$ fcitx5-config-qt
fcitx5-config-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libKF6WindowSystem.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[andaro@oylmpus ~]$ If anyone could, help, It'd be a pleasure!
solution: just check that you install the `fcitx5-im` package instead of the base `fcitx5` package, also environment variables as well.

Your error is suggesting that your missing some dependencies needed. search up the dependencies for fcitx5-configtool and make sure you have those installed

Afaict https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … dowsystem/ isn't an (optional) dependency for https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … onfigtool/ (but would only get dragged in implicitly by the KCM stuff) and there's already a package bug reported: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … -/issues/2

So... what should I do in this case?
I understand it could because something is missing, but how come in my previous Arch install, it would work just fine?

Okay, so now it launches, but now there's no input but English. I have Japanese input via Mozc, Russian and Hebrew installed. I mapped the "Enumerate Method Input Forward" to LShift+LAlt, but yet nothing happens...

**Though such information can be helpful to developers for diagnostic purpose, please double check and remove as necessary before posting it online publicly.**One of the things I noticed is that it wanted me to add 'export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx' to my '~/.xprofile' file, so I went ahead and did that, I'll update with results after a reboot.
Update: it did nothing.

Oh my, fcitx5-gtk just isn't present... could this have been the issue of it all?
yeah, that was the main problem of it just not working... thanks again!
