Hi everyone
I recently manually installed arch and everything seems to be working fine. One problem I have however is streaming netflix from firefox, biggest issue being audio. It does work, but it sounds much quieter than the rest of the system audio, except for music or loud sounds; those are way louder, while dialogues are barely audible. I'm using pipewire and I followed all the wiki steps (i installed and enabled pipewire-pulse). Audio seems to be working fine on youtube (always from firefox). I tried edge instead of firefox but it didn't solve the problem. I also tried using the "netflux" firefox add-on, which worked well for resolution, but didn't make any difference in the audio. I also tried to use an equalizer add-on but nothing changed. I tried using the netflix binary from the aur, but it just didn't work.
Thanks

If you can reproduce this issue everywhere including in edge (... why edge, chromium exists?) then it's much more likely to be an "issue" of the particular show you're watching. Sadly it's become quite commonplace to drown dialog in music in the final mix for some reason, this is as it comes from netflix, there's not much you're going to be able to do here from a firefox or browser perspective. What you can try is setup an equalizer to lower/increase certain frequencies until you get something that matches well. easyeffects and jamesdsp are easy to use equalizer tools for pipewire.
