Kde won't run on Wayland anymore (only X11) since last update

Since I updated my machine on Friday, I can only start the desktop environment with x11. The wayland server does not work anymore. Furthermore the system is way slower (opening windows, etc) since the update.
I freed up more discspace and went through the config files, but can't find anything wrong on a superficial level. Could anyone help me, dive deeper?

combined with this topic of yours, you seem to have a severly partially updated system which is known to break systems.

Disregard that post. I misread the kernel generation. Sorry, bad day. Now everything is up to date (6.13.8) and the symptoms still persist.
