Hello,
I am trying to get quadlets running in my machine with systemd-homed.
Whenever i try to 'systemd --user daemon-reload' in the logs i see this warning:
Warning: neither $XDG_CONFIG_HOME nor $HOME are defined
The problem is, that quadlet services are not being generated during daemon-reload.
When i try the manual generation it translates fine and when i create a blank user in homectl everything is working.
where is $HOME set with gdm / homectl?

Those are typically set per user when a session is started.
You have checked https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Podman#Quadlet ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
