Graphical Issues in World of Warcraft after System Update

I use umu-launcher (from the Arch repo)
I use GE-Proton9-23 (though I've moved to 9-26 as part of testing), which I maintain manually.
I did a system update yesterday, and since then I've been getting graphical issues in World of Warcraft.
The issues started without any reboot, and persisted after a reboot.
As a nuclear option, I used the ALA to go back to the date of my previous system update 2025-03-25, and rebooted.
The issue is still persisting.

I'm not quite sure what to look at or where to even begin to troubleshoot this.  I did try running Super Tux Kart which does appear to play without any glitches.  I don't have any other 3D games handy, but the 2D game 'The Binding of Isaac' which I run via the same means as World of Warcraft functions without any issues.

I have a video of it occurring below.  It shows 3 things which happen.
1. (Hard to see) As the character walks at the beginning, there's a minor stutter (00:00:28)
2. (Easy to see) The very obvious graphical glitch that can continue to happen and doesn't always stop. (00:00:59)
3. (Mixed visual ease) The graphics locking up entirely (but there's flicker on some things that were moving prior) when the window is maximized/unmaximized. (00:01:09)
I know this is graphical (and not a game freeze) because the way I'm unfreezing it (when it goes black briefly) is issuing the

/console gxrestart

command in-game, which restarts the graphics engine
