[SOLVED] Screen blank after login - KDE Plasma X11.

So at boot up this morning I logged in as usual and my screen was blank with a cursor. I noticed that my VPN app, which opens at startup, popped up as usual. Terminal works, I can launch apps from terminal, but it seems like the DE just doesn't load fully. There is a similar topic on this forum, but it seems like that was related to a timedate issue where it wasn't set. Mine is set though. I did run pacman -Syu yesterday and updated the packages, this is my first boot up since that, so my assumption is that this issue is caused by one of those package updates.

I'm not even sure what information would be best to provide to try and resolve this issue, but I'll post what I saw requested in the other thread. I'm also running another package update now because I see a lot of plasma packages have another update already, so perhaps that will resolve my issue.

This issue was resolved after the package updates mentioned above.
