[SOLVED] GNOME 48: Frequent plug & unplug sound for laptop charging

I have a Framework laptop that stops / disconnects charging when battery is 85%. The laptop is almost always connected to the charger. After a recent update, now I get frequent plug / unplug sound whenever the battery starts / stops charging. It used to be that the sound only plays when I physically connect / disconnect the USB-C plug.
Is there a way to turn the sound off? Or is this a bug?
