Hi all, first post so please let me know the conventions around here.
I just made a fresh install of Arch after having used Garuda Linux for a while with no issues other than bloat.
Everything was fine for the first day until I tried to change the boot order in the bios because the Windows boot loader was showing on startup (dual booting with Windows on separate drives) meaning I had to press escape to get to the systemd-boot for arch to show up to boot into it. Just after I did this it stopped booting into Arch.
I only have my phone so will try take photos and figure out how to upload them here.
First output after selecting Arch from systemd-boot:

Then the screen goes blank and shows for half a second a cursor in the top left, then just blank. Can't type anything. Shortcut to virtual console shows me the loading output you normally see when booting which shows no errors or warnings (am typing on my phone so not typing all of that but the last line is:
"Reached target Graphical Interface"
Just frozen there. Trying to boot into fallback mode doesn't do anything different. Booting into Windows works fine from Windows loader.

BIOS version: 1409
DE: KDE Plasma 6
EDIT:
Just playing around being noob and in virtual console 3 there was a login prompt. Logged in and launched Plasma and everything seems fine. Rebooting still gives me the same issue. I suppose the question has changed to why is this happening? And how do I get it to boot straight into the graphical environment without having to go through the console.
EDIT2:
Turns out it was something to do with SDDM. I had loaded a new login screen from the KDE Login Screen (SDDM) store(?) and that caused the issue. Changing back to one of the default login screens fixed the issue.
