PC stopped completely shutting down - lights out, but fan stays on

Greetings!
I built an Arch MythTV box many years ago. Out of the blue one day recently it stopped properly shutting down. For example, systemctl poweroff pretends to shut it down, including the power LED turning off, but the fans stay on indefinitely afterward and it stays warm (even left overnight). This did not start happening due to an update.

Troubleshooting done so far:
-updated BIOS to the latest version
-ran a full update of the system
-tried running off a live USB and shutting down from there - still had the issue

What I am seeing that I think could be related is the [ACPI BIOS Error (bug)] lines in the journal (pastebin links below). I've searched the forums, google, and even Copilot, as well as reading the Arch Wiki on ACPI, but I am to the point of in over my head on this one.

I'd be super grateful for any help.

Let me know if anything else would be helpful here:
journalctl -b pastebin
grub config
