Use wifi from my phone instead of wifi card

I had issues on my laptop where wifi card will not detecting but I think connecting from my phone's wifi will be the solution so that I can pacman -Syu. Is there a way?

I checked on wiki I have to install usb_modeswitch how am I gonna install the package without internet?

You should be able to connect your phone to your computer via USB cable, and place your phone into tethered network share mode.  Your phone will appear as a wired network connection.  All you need to do at that point is start dhcpcd and you are good to go.   You will share whatever wireless or cellular connection the phone is using.   All of this is providing your carrier does not block this in an effort to  'monitize' you.  In that case, I suggest a new carrier.
