tldr: try removing some weird modprobe amdgpu options and make sure they're deleted
It's my first time posting on Arch forums!
The title kinda says it all. I had a problem with a GPU I upgraded to (OS was sometimes crashing, a topic for another topic) so in an attempt to fix it I installed amd-ucode, thinking it would update the GPU microcode or something, but instead nothing gets sent to the monitor after GRUB window, where display manager should display (shows "no signal" and goes to power saving). I ssh'd via my phone and removed amd-ucode. After a reboot there is still no signal. I tried reinstalling and removing it again, running mkinitcpio, reinstalling everything on /boot, installing linux-lts (no entry in grub, even though it's in grub-mkconfig??), trying to fix everything that looks weird in dmesg (some errors are left because searching them says it's okay) and probably some other things i don't remember because i was trying to fix it for over two weeks now without any progress...
I have a Genuine Intel(R) CPU 0000 (??) and a AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT gpu
Here's the output of dmesg:

Boot into arch live ISO like when you installed Arch, mount your system, arch-chroot in, uninstall package, rebuild kernel image with mkinitcpio.
If that gets you back in, what GPU issues are you having?
Have you read: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU

If that gets you back in, what GPU issues are you having?
Have you read: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU
Yes, I did
I did uninstall the package using ssh from my phone, pacman should have rebuilt the kernel image, but with no success
Offline
What do you mean "no success"?
Try running "sudo mkinitcpio -P"
Desktop: Ryzen 7 1800X | AMD 7800XT | KDE Plasma
MacbookPro-2012 | XFCE
Offline
I meant that monitor still has no signal, mkinitcpio doesn't error
Offline
Try removing all of these kernel parameters: radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=0 radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1
They are intended for cards older than yours.
Desktop: Ryzen 7 1800X | AMD 7800XT | KDE Plasma
MacbookPro-2012 | XFCE

I removed amdgpu.conf and radeon.conf inside /etc/modprobe.d/ and in GRUB pressed "e" to edit the entry and removed the parameters, then pressed F10 to boot. No signal
Offline
Putting some foreign cpu patches on your disk will do absolutely no harm whatsoever.
Instructing amdgpu and radeon to shift control of some non-existing GPU families will do absolutely no harm whatsoever.
Can you boot the multi-user.target (2nd link below)
The simplydumb device has recently been acting up again (*SIGH*) so add another parameter for non-existing hardware: "nvidia_drm.modeset=1" (it'll implicitly block the simpledrm device, but it *has* to be the kernel parameter) and get us a journal of the failing boot,
sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st
Offline
Okay, I "sudo systemctl set-default multi-user.target" 'd from ssh, rebooted, added the parameter the same way as I did before, ran the command, and it produced this link:

This looks concerning.
There's quite a bunch of disks and partitions, is there a parallel windows installation?
You'll not be able to run a GUI session, but do you keep an output when booting "nomodeset"?
Offline
Yes, I have three disks, first one is arch, second is fedora (my old os, left in case something happens to arch) and windows (left in case something happens to fedora lol)
Running with "nomodeset" does load the display manager (ly), but in low resolution and hyprland doesn't load, only in shell/tty
Edit: glossed over that you said it won't load gui, I think the lines you highlighted are the ones I see every time on boot before a display manager loads, even before I changed my gpu and before everything broke, looks related to this

windows (left in case something happens to fedora lol)
3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
Can you enforce a mode (w/o nomodeset) - https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/fb/modedb.rst ?
If you're not sure about the relevant outputs, you can check
for OUT in /sys/class/drm/card*; do echo $OUT; edid-decode $OUT/edid; echo "================="; done
You'll need https://github.com/timvideos/edid-decode/ (not yet in v4l-utils and the AUR package is unfortunately gone)

"powercfg /H off" 'd windows, rebooted it a couple of times, after, rebooted arch a couple of times, installed v4l-utils-git, but didn't really understood how to make a video= parameter, i have a display port 2560x1440p 165hz monitor so i tried "video=DP-1 : 2560x1440@165" and have no input

Is the edid-decode output from a nomodeset boot?
Or is the post missing huge parts of the output?
Do you btw. have another monitor (basic office stuff 1920x1200@60Hz)?
Can you disable https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Variable_refresh_rate in the monitors OSD?
If you boot blindly (no! "nomodeset") into an X11 session (some DM like lightdm will suffice, autologin/startx or so will help w/ the XAUTHORITY), can you inspect the randr data via ssh?
(Even if you autologin into a session of your user, you'll still have to "export DISPLAY=:0" then "xrandr -q" [Edit: if this works make it "xrandr --verbose" as that will print the EDID ])
Sidebar: while it's not supposed to do anything, you should still remove the "radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=0 radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1" nonsense.

I found a setting named "adaptive synchronisation" in "screen" tab, but turning it off and making "video=DP-1:2560x1440@60e" still has no signal

I really don't like this line, ever since i first saw it, since gpus are "VGA complatible driver"s. Is it okay?
P.s. ly has a default built in feature that pressing f1 shuts down the pc and f2 reboots it, even though there is no output to the monitor, pressing the keys would do the thing, now it doesn't (it didn't work even before i disabled ly)

No, but it suggests that there's only one card and no output at all on that card (not even w/o a monitor connected to it, it's like there's no displayport or hdmi or vga jacks)

No, that's fine.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#Monitor_settings - but that's moot, X11 cannot see an output anywhere either.
For clarification: that problem doesn't exist with either fedora or windows, notably under fedora you've "ls -l /sys/class/drm/card*/edid"?
installing linux-lts (no entry in grub, even though it's in grub-mkconfig??)
IE. you've never actually tried the LTS kernel?
pacman -Qikk linux-lts
ls -lR /etc/mkinitcpio.d/
ls -l /boot
And what's the exact grub-mkconfig command you ran and what does it print out?

Running gnome on xorg:

I tried reinstalling it and re-running grub-mkconfig and it worked this time? Still no signal though
