Am i the only one but since the last xorg updates my work laptop & my home Linux box whilst in KDE both blank the screen after 10 mins of inactivity.
I know about xset s off & xset -s noblank etc i even ran them from a terminal and just to see put in a script in autostart so KDE would run it.
But it still makes no diff , the screen blanking still comes on.
I've got no screensaver or power settings setup in KDE's control panel so what has changed ???
Help its annoying me now.

Ah ha for some reason dpms is enabled now , so a quick xset -dpms fixes this..
xset q shows status info.
Added to my autostart script...
