Hi,
About mid-week the scanner stopped working after an Arch update. So I tried the scanner and cable on Win and it works without a glitch...
I have installed iscan-plugin-gt-s650 2.30.4
Now when I run scanimage -L will be displayed: "No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages)"
lsusb : "Bus 001 Device 008: ID 04b8:013c Seiko Epson Corp. Epson Perfection V19" is about ok
if I return the disk image on Monday 28.4, everything is fine and the scanner works. After the update it is not found :-(
Could someone advise me how to get the scanner working again after the update?

probably the gcc update (April, 29th)?
Did you install gcc14 and rebuild iscan?

Thanks unfortunately it didn't help. The problem is that iscan plugin needs libstdc++5-3.3.6-10-x86_64 but I can't install it because depency. So I don't know how to compile/install it

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/iscan-plugin-gt-s650 dpends on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/iscan ?
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libstdc++5 has a bunch of compilation failure reports in the comments - what problem are you facing when trying to build it?

Resolved:
I managed to solve it by installing libstdc++5-bin. Installation was easy. Then it worked with new iscan-plugin-gt-650.
