Arch Linux TV Display Reset Issue After Login (NVIDIA GPU)

System Information:

    OS: Arch Linux

    Display Manager: SDDM

    Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma (X11)

    GPU: NVIDIA (Model:1650 4gb zotac)

    Display: TV connected via HDMI-0

    Kernel Version: 6.14.5-arch1-1

    Driver: NVIDIA proprietary drivers

Problem:
after logging into kde(x11 or wayland),hyprland too,my screen is default, that means no alterations i made where being loaded, such as brightness, and after a few seconds my tv restarts and everything goes back to normal,i want the restart thing to stop and ive been trying for some time without much change except the usual "it got worse" then back to normal restart again

Things ive tried:
Created an xrandr script for forced resolution setting after login.

Enabled NVIDIA Persistence Mode to keep the GPU active.

Checked Xorg logs — no errors related to HDMI or EDID loading.

Re: Arch Linux TV Display Reset Issue After Login (NVIDIA GPU)

SDDM will run on xorg by default and most session settings will only be loadable after having selected a session/logging into a wayland session from Xorg started SDDM mandates a modeset switch anyway.

Offhand I'd suggest trying to setup SDDM for a wayland start e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/SDDM#Wayland and see the section mentioning how to match Plasma's display settings.
