Hi folks,
I saw this wiki page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Alienware_M15_R6. It mentions that the Performance Boost key worked out-of-the-box for the author.
I would like to know if someone knows how. I have a Dell G15 5511 that has a similar key called G-Mode, but pressing it doesn't enable the performance mode, so I would like to know if is some config file, daemon, etc. that needs to be in place.
Thanks!

Hello,
Searching forum for similar models, I get the impression 'performance boost' refers to nvidia GPU.

Although perhaps not relevant to this issue, I stumbled on another repo that looks active. https://github.com/T-Troll/alienfx-tools

"Performance Boost" is how Alienware calls the button. "G-Mode" is how the button is identified in a Dell G series.
Thanks for the second link. One of the tools actually runs in the background and monitors for the key being pressed.
I'm in contact with the author of the wiki page, so maybe he had these AlienFX tools installed.
