[SOLVED] Completely removing Arch from my machine.

Hello, I have managed to completely brick my arch install (single boot, nothing else on the machine) and - definitely for lack of skill on my part - cannot fix it. I've decided to completely remove arch from my machine for the time being and install windows instead, and I will add a dual boot for arch in the future. My question is, can I just plug in a windows bootable media and get to it, or are there any things that I need to do beforehand to make sure it works as expected? E.g. Do I need to reformat the disk and get rid of all the partitions? If so, given that I can't use my terminal - would I need to do this from the arch bootable media? Note, I am happy to lose all data on the machine, nothing needs to be rescued.

just use the windows installer and delete all the partitions and install, simple....
though if your going to do that i would suggest linux mint which is actually quicker and easier to install and use than windows, dont give up on linux!

Re: [SOLVED] Completely removing Arch from my machine.

This is always the way. I have been battling with this for days trying to figure it out. I wrote the message about using windows, and then as a last ditch attempt searched the forum one last time for a solution and managed to search for the right thing! It was oh-my-zsh causing the issue. Uninstalled that and now I seem to be all good again! Windows can wait for the time being at least, although I might move to a dual boot at some point just for peace of mind that I have a working machine if needed in a fix.
