Cannot change SDDM theme from GUI

Hi, it's been I while since I started using Arch along with KDE, it never gave me problems. Recently I wanted to change theme and I did it directly from the settings instead of the terminal, everything went well except the sddm theme won't change.

Here's what I noticed when I try to change theme and apply:

So it clearly tries to ask for root authentication but the window would disappear in less than a second, so I thought it was something related to polkit.

I try to reinstall polkit, reinstall the settings, reinstall sddm and even plasma-meta, but nothing would fix it. What can I try?
