[SOLVED*] XFM v1.4.3 will not compile properly

As part of an X11 setup, I am trying to compile XFM v1.4.3. However though, I have repeatedly encountered errors despite having all of the necessary packages (logs are not pasted here because they are quite long):

https://fluorine.sh/images/xfm.log

I have tried removing regexp from the compilation, and the results gave the following:

https://fluorine.sh/images/xfm-noregexp.log

I have also tried compiling moxfm, but that also does not compile.

I know this is over 20 year old software, but I want to find a way to get it to compile and be usable as it's the only decent Athena/Motif widget file manager I can find.

Essentially what I'm trying to figure out is how to possibly compile it, and get it up and running on my system.

Re: [SOLVED*] XFM v1.4.3 will not compile properly

So I managed to install a binary provided by Ubuntu's "Trusty" repository on Launchpad. You will have to unzip the deb file and copy the contents of the files in the folders to their according directories. On top of that, you will also have to copy libxaw3d.so to libxaw3d.so.6 to get it to run. From there, everything should run smoothly.

I am effectively considering this solved, as I have gotten the application to run and I do not know of other methods to possibly compile it.
