Falkon

I just want to ask is Falkon is working fine on Arch? Especially when you load dynamic pages like https://www.transfermarkt.de/
I've using different distro not Arch based but rolling release. When I was upgrading to newer v4l or libavif 2 weeks ago it stops, I revert them but still no success.
I saw Arch has same versions of Falkon depends that's why I've asking, the problem isn't obvious it lies some in deep depends.
When I run falkon from command line and navigate to https://www.transfermarkt.de/

falkon
Falkon: 2 extensions loaded
[221607:19:0605/191045.190702:ERROR:ffmpeg_common.cc(1046)] Unsupported pixel format: -1
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file: No such file: (null)

and page fails to load. No problem to any other QWebEngine browser (Konqueror, Angelfish works fine), I don't see any direct usage of Falkon to v4l or libavif.

Re: Falkon

Those errors won't cause an empty page - most likely some redirect or javascript problem. Maybe overzealous adblocking (cookie-warning)
Have you tried reloading the page w/ the web-inspector and/or wiping the cache resp. tried a fresh user account?

I've using different distro not Arch based

https://bbs.archlinux.org/misc.php?action=rules ?

but… I saw Arch has same versions of Falkon

Probably not? And even iff, same Qt? Same libc? Same build parameters?
You can oc. inquire  if people have seen the same problem, but keep in mind that this isn't 100% transferable.

Yes, KaOS is very similar to Arch, but not based on. Everything now is in sync but it's not all the time.
Tried with clean new account, without cache, without ad-block, with no luck, appimage version also doesn't work because it's used system libs, flatpak version works correct since it packs all depends.
Issue is now fixed with new Qt 6.9.1 still have no idea what cause it, since I'm KDE contributor time-to-time it makes me to suffer.

Moving to GNU/Linux Discussion

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: Falkon

Please mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
