Pacman update broke GNOME
Hi, I just updated my system and after a restart even before logging in, a white screen was propted with a sad computer screen and the text "Leider ist ein Problem aufgetreten. - Ein Problem ist aufgetreten, welches vom System nicht behoben werden kann. Bitte kontaktieren Sie den Systemverwalter" (English: "Unfortunately, a problem has occurred. - A problem has occurred that cannot be resolved by the system. Please contact the system administrator").
I could fixed it by downgrading my system with the following steps:
1. Press [Control] + [Alt] + [F2]
2. Logging in in the terminal
3. Following the Guide to How to restore all packages to a specific date setting it to:
Server=https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2025/06/14/$repo/os/$archMeaning, with https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/202 … o/os/$arch it's working correctly, but with the newest versions it's not. After it was working I tried to update again. But it broke GNOME again. So I downgraded back to the state of 2025-06-14.
