annoying mouse acceleration x11

at first when i installed arch on this computer it was fine and didnt randomly accelerate and move around like it on ice but of course now it does.
i noticed i dont have this issue when im on wayland so ig its x11-related. i followed a bunch of guides but ive had no luck so far. it may be since i have a high polling rate mouse? the viper v3 pro. i installed razer software but it seemed to not be helpfull at all in this aspect so i threw it out. im prob gonna punch my monitor if i dont smarten up or get some help fixing it.

you may want to check out the related wiki article about mouse accel

on wayland, mouse acceleration is entirely up to the compositor you are using
