GAOMON M106K PRO driver problems [SOLVED]

Since like 2 months ago,  opening my tablet driver's program causes it to just do... literally nothing. It worked before. It stops registering any input until I kill the driver core and program. There's not exactly any avenues of support to use for me, so I'm just here asking about it since the driver got updated *2 days ago* and still doesn't work, in the same way. The buttons work just fine, but the pen doesn't work at all. The tablet still registers the pen (green light turns on) but it doesn't move the pointer.  Whatever's built in doesn't support the resizing or buttons of the tablet, which I kind of *need*. So it's just an inferior driver that outright barely works. Not sure when or even how it got merged, because it's not usable.

Edit: Just opted to switch to opentabletdriver. It supports all of this stuff with a fancy GUI and no xconf/wayland faffing. Not worth the headache of trying to untangle the hid_uclogic module.
