[SOLVED]Initramfs not found after installing a different distributive.

Hello!

I've decided to install another distributive (Manjaro) on my laptop for the purposes of debugging a different issue. However, after that was done, I was unable to log back into arch. Attempting that gives me the error about not /boot/initramfs/linux not being found, and after a couple of seconds, the kernel panic:

I suspect this is because when installing Manjaro I've marked the FAT32 partition as /boot/uefi. The question is, how do I undo that?

Thank you in advance.

boot arch install media
mount your partitions
arch-chroot
reinstall kernel / run mkinitcpio

Thank you, will try.

Just to clarify: how should I mount the fat32 partition? As /boot or /boot/uefi?

Sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm just really afraid to mess up now.

Okay, that didn't seem to help. I've ran mkinitcpio, it generated the image, but I still can't boot.

Edit: reinstalling GRUB after that fixed the issue. Marking as solved.

well - I don't know what manjaro uses - but as you stated the issue being "initrd not found" I got from that "grub still working"
