[SOLVED≈]Problem after pacman -Rdd linux-firmware

I couldn't download any package to a clean installed Archlinux.
Completed from the news:
     pacman -Rdd linux-firmware
After
     pacman -Syu linux-firmwar
But the same problem, all the packages that needed to be installed, it says that there is an error with the synchronization of all packages.

To be more precise, the second command is not executed in principle.

Re: [SOLVED≈]Problem after pacman -Rdd linux-firmware

I'm not at my PC at the moment. The mirrors seem to be lying around when I request packages. The same ping request to any website doesn't work. I've checked the network connection, and it's there. I've tried setting the nameserver to 8.8.8.8, as suggested in a similar issue, but the result remains the same.

It's funny, it's a typo, but no, I didn't miss anything.

I'm sorry. I don't understand what any of those comments mean. You do understand, don't you, that error messages contain information that may be necessary to understand and correct the problem(s)? And that for us to help you, we need to know what those (complete) error messages are? The next time you're at your PC, perhaps you could share them? Otherwise we're just guessing.

Cheers,

How? You certainly don't have functioning DNS resolution.

ping -c1 _gateway

But you probably don't have network at all after removing  firmware and likely rebooting?
Boot the install iso, chroot into the system, fix your system from there.

Re: [SOLVED≈]Problem after pacman -Rdd linux-firmware

I just reinstalled the system because it was faster and easier. And it was still just installed. It's just funny that the next day, everything stopped updating and pacman stopped working without my intervention. And I probably shouldn't have deleted the firmware like it was mentioned in the news. I probably didn't understand the problem correctly. In any case, it was resolved.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
