Just did an update (pacman -Syu)
Now my machine does not boot to KDE, it comes up with Gnome.
How can I change it back?
On the log in screen, there are two choices, Wayland with Gnome and Wayland with Gnome.
Before the update, I was using X86 with KDE.

Solved, sort of.
I found that the SDDM theme I was using did not pick up all the available options for boot!
As I was unable to determine how to remove a theme using Gnome, (I really dislike Gnome!) I manually disabled it by setting the permissions on the files in /etc/sddm.conf.d, changing the Theme to Breeze and then removing the write permission. I deleted the file in /etc/sddm.conf.
Now, when the login screen comes up there are 8 entries for Gnome, 4 in /usr/share/wayland-sessions and 4 in /usr/share/xsessions. There is one for Plasma on Wayland in /usr/share/wayland-sessions but the entry for Plasma on X11 is no longer in /usr/share/xsessions.
So I am able to boot to wayland using KDE but not X11. Now, I have to right click on the Application Launcher before I can get a left click to work. The same with the icons in the task bar. And, I have a noticable delay when moving my mouse from one screen to the other. I don't know if it's wayland or my nVidia card, or the combination or maybe in Plasma 6.4.0.
So I'm left with the question of why the update removed the X11 boot process for KDE? Did KDE remove it from 6.4.0?
Grrr!

Pacman also told you this when you updated. Always read what pacman tells you.

And please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
