"Higher than 60Hz" or "180Hz"
What about 100Hz?
Do you get the same on X11 or other WL compositors (weston, hyprland, …)?
Online
on hyprland it flicker but only when i change the refresh rate(does not matter if its higher or lower), after rebooting it stops flickering
have not tried x11 or any other wayland comositors, besides hyprland
on 100Hz it seems that flickering stopped, but Im not sure, because it may just become rarer
I will try i3
EDIT:
On 100Hz in sway there was no flickering, however screen flickers with 144Hz and 165Hz and 180Hz on i3 works fine, also I forgot to mention that i use amd gpu

There's been a lot of issues w/ the amdgpu firmware recently - one reporter claiming that some firmware version fixed their crashes but locked them into 60Hz…
20250613.12fe085f-9 has just moved out of testing, if that doesn't fix it, try 20250613.12fe085f-5 and 20250613.12fe085f-6 (both seem to have different bugs) and in very doubt to step down to the latest 20250508 (which will unfortunately move you into the linux-firmware versions before the recent split and you'll have to redo that dance…)
Ultimately, since you do not seem to get this w/ i3/X11, what if you enforce the high performance mode or 3D fullscreen power profile, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU … nce_levels ?

Omg setting the high performance mode works just fine, thank you sir
I will mark this as solved
