Sleep renders machine unresponsive [SOLVED]

I believe the issue started when I updated my kernel. I am running an ASUS VivoBook laptop which has an Intel graphics card.

journalctrl (upon boot): https://pastebin.com/arMnFNn4

journalctrl (when sleep is activated): https://pastebin.com/33Hcg8vz

Also, running 'startplasma-wayland' takes about 20+ seconds. Usually takes about a second. I believe the two are related.

Updating to linux-mainline does not fix the issue. Installing linux-lts doesn't solve the issue as well.

Any ideas?

** EDIT **

Reinstalled and sleep issue is solved. KDE issue is not solved. Will make another post for that one
